- Measure the sofa and your doorways so you know how it will come out
- Check you have a permit before taking a van to the tip
- Check that anyone who takes it away is a registered waste carrier

- Leave it on the pavement or in a lane, which is fly-tipping
- Hand it to someone who cannot show a waste carrier registration
- Try to carry a sofa down stairs on your own
- Assume a charity will take it without asking

Can I take a sofa to the tip in a van?
Only with a van permit. If you do not have one, or do not have a vehicle that fits the sofa, booking us avoids the problem.
Will you carry it out from upstairs?
Yes. We carry everything out from inside, so you don't lift a thing.
How do I get a price?
