No. Both are fortnightly. Food waste is the weekly collection. Check your address on the council bin calendar to see which bin is due this week.

Can I put glass in my recycling bin?

Glass goes to banks only, so it is not part of the bin rounds. Check the council bin calendar page if you are unsure about anything else.

What if I miss my bin day?

Check the calendar for your next date. Both main bins are fortnightly, so a missed day can mean a long wait, which is when extra rubbish starts to pile up.

What do I do with a sofa or mattress?

They are too big for a bin. You can book a council bulky collection and wait for a collection day, or send us photos and we price the job up front.
